Today I finally got what I've been waiting for, my first real supported spindle.

I got this one from Art of Siberia on Etsy, they also have an EBay page. Inside within layers of tape, plastic wrap, and foam wrap was this exquisite piece of wood working. Also, taped on the outside was a little pocket including a "Gift Lucky Russian Coin" and who am I to say no to some free luck. I need it now more than ever.

Cool! My spindle skills are super novice, curious about the supported spindle concept.
